Nate Wiener is the face and camera behind Teddy Bear Studios — a one-man videography operation based in Minnesota.
Hi, I’m Nate
The name "Teddy Bear" has followed me for years. My boarding school class gave it to me, and it stuck for a reason — I'm the kind of person you feel comfortable around pretty quickly. It turns out that matters a lot when someone's trusting you to film the most important day of their life.
I started Teddy Bear Studios because I love capturing moments and showing people what they truly looked like — not a polished performance of them, but the real thing. The laugh that surprised everyone. The look between two people that lasted half a second. The thing you were too busy living to notice until you watched it back.
By day I teach Math, Science, Religion, and a few other subjects at a traditional Catholic school in Minnesota — and that rhythm shapes how I approach every shoot. I know what it means to show up prepared, to care about the people in front of you, and to take seriously the things that matter to families. Faith, community, and the moments that bind people together — those aren't just themes in my work. They're what I live.
That's why I'm especially honored to film traditional and Catholic weddings. I understand the weight of the ceremony, the meaning behind every ritual, and the importance of capturing it with the reverence it deserves.
